01Summary

Engineer with 9 years building web platforms end to end — from schema to pixel. Led the migration of a 40k-MAU product to a services architecture, cut p95 latency 74%, and grew a platform team from two to nine. I care about developer experience, honest metrics and shipping fast without breaking things.

02Experience

Nordwave — Milan, Italy (hybrid)

•Own the customer-facing analytics dashboard used by 40k monthly active users, shipping weekly behind feature flags

•Led the migration from a legacy PHP monolith to a TypeScript/Node services architecture across 14 services

•Reduced average API response time from 800ms to 210ms with caching, query optimization and connection pooling

•Built the internal design system (react, docs at design.nordwave.io) adopted by five product teams

•Mentored three junior engineers through structured code reviews and weekly pairing sessions

Senior Software EngineerJun 2019 – Feb 2022

Bitfolk Studio — Remote

•Developed e-commerce storefronts and internal tools for a dozen retail clients on Next.js and Shopify

•Introduced automated testing (Playwright + Vitest) which cut production regressions by roughly half

•Worked directly with clients to scope features, negotiate timelines and run quarterly roadmap reviews

•Set up CI/CD on GitHub Actions with preview deployments for every pull request

Research Software EngineerSep 2017 – May 2019

Politecnico di Milano — HPC Lab — Milan, Italy

•Built simulation tooling in Python and C++ for a computational fluid dynamics group

•Published two peer-reviewed papers on parallel mesh partitioning (doi.org/10.1000/xyz123)

•Maintained the lab's Slurm cluster and onboarding documentation

Web Developer2015 – 2017
